Carson High grads excel in auto training course

Two Carson High School graduates — Francisco Jacquez and Gustavo Villagrana-Valencia — recently graduated from the Sacramento Campus of Universal Technical Institute, a post-secondary education for students seeking careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle and marine technicians.

Jacquez and Villagrana-Valencia completed the institute’s Automotive, Toyota TPAT, Ford FACT, Diesel, and Smog training programs. They earned multiple Student of the Course honors, which are awarded to students with the highest grade in a given course.
