Tierra Bonaldi, from The Impetus Agency, named to Nevada Humane Society executive committee

A new executive committee at the Nevada Humane Society was announced Tuesday with Tierra Bonaldi, from The Impetus Agency, at its helm.

The Reno-based society oversees animal services and shelters in Washoe County and Carson City.

Bonaldi, who’s with the Reno public relations firm, is president and has served on the board of directors for eight years.

Others on the executive panel, which serves to provide leadership counsel to the full board and the organization, are:

Gregory Hall, vice president; Kevin Linderman, secretary; Dawn Ahner, treasurer; and Krys Bart, past president.

Bart was recognized for what in a news release, announcing the executive leadership unit, was called outstanding service.

She also played a role in growing the Board of Directors from 17 to 19 and is seeking to add two members to that board from Carson City.

The society runs animal services and the shelter in Carson City in a contract with city government.
