Autopsy ordered in death of Carson City inmate

The Department of Corrections has ordered an autopsy in the death of a 59-year-old inmate from Carson City.

Walter Earl Day died at the Regional Medical Facility located in the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in south Carson City.

He was sentenced to 4-10 years for felony driving under the influence ordered by a Carson District judge. Day had been in prison since August 2013.
