Family-owned business recognized

Family-owned businesses based in northern Nevada were celebrated May 12 with an awards luncheon.

The Family Owned Business Awards began in 2010 as a way to recognize hardworking families throughout Nevada. The event is sponsored by Nevada State Bank, the corporate sponsor, and Nevada Business Magazine and was held in the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino.
