Bring God Back!

Why such hate in a soul

Hell bent on massacre and death.

What’s going on in this world?

Love and prayers is what we have left.

Stand united as one.

We must make a change.

Let are hearts beat as one.

We must rearrange.

So much selfishness

Let’s replace it with love

Replace it with compassion

Replace it with the strength from God above.

If we don’t change our ways

If we don’t make a stand

Clean up our political greed

Bring God back into our land

Evil will win the fight.

When we turn from God

We invite the dark of night.

There is so much good

It starts with trying to understand

It starts with kindness to others

Reach across and hold each other’s hand.

No more snotty and hateful words

Or sacrificing others for the love of money

No more personal greed at all costs

This way of life in no longer funny

Our society it embraces that skill.

What have we become?

It starts within each of us

From this truth we can no longer run.

Put God back into our hearts

Turn from hate and build bridges

That is truly where it starts.

Quit judging others we do not have that right

Think of others first

And we can win the fight.

Don’t lie down and let hate win.

Pray like never before

Open up and let God back in.

Back into our schools

Back into our hearts

Back into our homes

God is where it all starts.

If you want to beat the hate

This evil in our home land

Release your own bias and hatred

It is with God we must stand.
