Louisa Jane and John Ames Lindblade are marking 63 years of marriage.
Louisa Jane and John Ames Lindblade, 25-year residents of Gardnerville, celebrated their 63rd anniversary Saturday.
The Lindblades, who celebrated the occasion with a small reception with family, were married in Troy, Kan., on March 5, 1953.
John is a retired Teamster truck driver. Louisa worked as a Mervyn’s sales associate.
The couple has five children — Michael of Apple Valley, Calif.; Vicky of Gardnerville; Edward of San Dimas, Calif.; Gloria of San Dimas, Calif.; and Jeanie of Claremont, Calif. — and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
