Rooting out wildfire risk in Carson City

Janice Caldwell, CCFD’s Earl Duncan and John Garlinger load yard debris into a trailer Saturday morning in the Lakeview area as part of National Wildfire Preparedness Day and Nevada Wildfire Awareness Month.The residents of Carson City’s Lakeview community partnered with the Carson City Fire Department and University of Nevada Cooperative Extension’s Living With Fire Program to conduct the community clean up event.
