Kate Sciacca: Clinton, incompetent as Secretary of State, will be incompetent as president

Ms. Walters, in her column titled “How we deal with Trump’s behavior” argues that “Experts have long said voters choose candidates because of our unconscious emotional reactions.”

Sorry, Ms. Walters, neither I, or folks I know well, choose candidates based on “emotional reactions.” Perhaps soccer moms did that in ‘92 and ‘96, as we were told they were the demographic that elected serial sexual abuser Bill Clinton. Twice.

No, ma’am, I am voting for Mr. Trump because of his stated positions, particularly his list of potential SCOTUS nominees. And I am, contrary to your assertion that I “do not know how misinformed I am,” very familiar with the nominees Mr. Trump has suggested. And trust me, Ms. Walters, this election has always been about SCOTUS. It is the prize Mrs. Clinton covets with every fiber of her being. As she has stated: “Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will. And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases must be changed.” And SCOTUS is the way she intends to “change” religious beliefs.

I am also very familiar with Mrs. Clinton’s selling of American foreign policy to the highest bidder via donations to her Clinton family foundation. And I am completely familiar with her incompetence as Secretary of State in handling the terrorist attack in Benghazi.

Mrs. Clinton has tolerated and enabled her serial abuser spouse because she would not have had any success as Hillary Rodham. In fact, Hillary Rodham was fired by Pete Rodini (head of the committee investigating Watergate) for her incompetence as an attorney.

We have two choices, Ms. Walters, a man who has been crude in the past or a woman who has no problem with babies being slaughtered and sliced up for sale so that her favorite charity, Planned Parenthood, can enrich their coffers and hers.

I choose the former.
