New RSVP Controller named in Carson City

The Nevada Rural Counties RSVP Program, Inc. (RSVP) has appointed Nick Providenti, CPA, to the Controller position at Carson City headquarters.

“As a former Carson City finance director, risk manager and senior accounting manager, Mr. Providenti has a proven track record of exemplary leadership and fiscal expertise,” said Susan Haas, executive director and CEO of RSVP. “We are very happy to have Nick on our team and look forward to working with him as we continue to provide seniors with assistance which helps improve the quality of their lives and assists them to maintain their independence with dignity.”

“I am truly honored and excited about starting a new chapter in my career as RSVP’s Controller. I look forward to working with Susan and the great team at RSVP to continue the mission and vision of helping seniors with volunteer programs,” said Providenti.

Providenti is taking over for Donna Dorris, longtime employee of RSVP, who’s retiring after almost 11 years with the program.

Haas said Dorris has been a valued and dedicated employee and RSVP wishes her a fond farewell and good luck with her retirement.
