Custom sewing & alterations at Patchwork Giraffe is a win

It’s their one year anniversary!

Yes, who knew?

It’s the “Patchwork Giraffe” on John Street

With Judy Lauder and her daughter Stephanie too.

I’ve never done much sewing

Some place mats and quilts long ago

But Judy and Stephanie

With two sewing machines

Wow! Can they sew!

They do custom work

With their own patterns.

Yes, one of a kind.

Special clothes for a production

Or just something simple,

Whatever you have in mind.

The choices are really endless

They do knitting, tatting and crochet.

They even did the library mascot

The owl in the Nevada Day Parade.

Now, they do alterations

When you’re too big or too thin.

They will repair my grandmother’s afghan.

Now, surely this is a win, win!

They knit darling hats and hair wraps

And so much more.

Yes, you must come and visit.

Really, just walk through their door.
