Partners at Reno-based Avansino, Melarkey, Knobel, Mulligan & Mckenzie today announced that the law office has joined Las Vegas-based McDonald Carano. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but McDonald Carano said the merger will expand its presence in Nevada.
The addition of the five-lawyer firm will position McDonald Carano as a key provider of trust, estates and tax services in the state, according to a statement. McDonald Carano’s northern Nevada team will continue to operate from 100 W. Liberty St.
