In a report released by the Reno/Sparks Association of REALTORS, Washoe County had 505 sales of existing single-family homes; a decrease of 13 percent from a year ago in August 2014 and a 22 percent decrease from one month ago in July 2015. The report listed the median sales price for an existing single family residence in Washoe County in August 2015 at $290,000; an increase of 16 percent from August 2014 and $735 decrease from July 2015. All sales numbers are for existing “stick built single family dwellings” only and do not include condominium, townhome, manufactured, modular or newly constructed homes. The median sales price of existing condominium/townhomes in Washoe County in August 2015 was $135,000; an increase of 25 percent from a year ago.
