The Western Nevada College Specialty Crop Institute offers a workshop, “Agritourism Opportunities in Northern Nevada,” on Aug. 13 at the Jeanne Dini Cultural Center in Yerington.
The workshop will be taught by Jane Eckert, founder of Eckert AgriMarketing and operator of a country store and farm near St. Louis, Mo., and tourism consultant Chuck Nozicka of Sacramento, who has managed projects in the Mason and Smith valleys.
