Alison Gaulden was named internship coordinator for The Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Gaulden replaces Warren Lerude, who retired.
She began teaching at UNR in UNR as an adjunct professor in public relations, media writing, reporting and ethics. She teaches at Truckee Meadows Community College and UNR’s extended studies program.
Gaulden has also worked as a reproductive freedom fighter for public affairs and has owned two consulting businesses and is starting a third.
She graduated from UNR in 1992 and served as a student liaison for the PRSA Sierra Nevada Chapter and PRSSA Theodore Conover Chapter.
