Dr. Tanya Phares

Dr. Tanya Phares has joined the staff at Northern Nevada Medical Group’s South Reno location on Kietzke Lane and will serve as medical director of the group’s Immunization Clinic.

Phares earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine at Western University of Health Science, Collage of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, Calif., and earned a masters of public health at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her residency in internal medicine at University of California, Irvine Medical Center. She also completed a residency in preventive medicine at the California Department of Public Health and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
