Girl Scout honorees

Dee Frewert, Lynell Garfield-Qualls, Estela Gutierrez, Season Lopiccolo and Heather Reimer will be recognized by the Girl Scouts of the Sierra Nevada at its Triumphant: Celebrating Women In Leadership Awards event on Nov. 20.

Frewert, managing principal of Gryphon Education & Associates LLC, will be honored for her work in developing education in science, technology, engineering and math.

Garfield-Qualls, a hydrologist with the City of Reno and author of the children’s book “The Secret Life of Streams, will be recognized for environmental leadership and responsibility.

Gutierrez, a trustee for the Washoe County School District and dean of student services at Truckee Meadows Community College, will be recognized for community service.

Lopiccolo, chief operating officer of Noble Studios, will be recognized for her support of financial literacy.

Reimer, founder of Each One. Tell One and sales manager for Hometown Health, will be recognized for healthy living.
