Jerome Hicks hired by Sierra Regional Spine

Jerome Hicks

Jerome Hicks has been hired by Sierra Regional Spine Institute as a nurse practitioner.

Hicks graduated from the University of Nevada as advanced practice registered nurse. He also earned his degree as registered nurse from UNR.

He also serves as a captain in the nurse corps of the National Guard.

Brian Pick

Brian Pick has been elected a partner in the law firm of Downey Brand.

An attorney since 2006, he is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, Reynolds School of Journalism.

Jacey Prupas

Jacey Prupas, an attorney in the Reno office of Snell & Wilmer, has been elected to partnership in the firm.

Prupas’ practice is concentrated on general commercial litigation.

Prupas earned her juris doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law.

Melody Harkreader

Melody Harkreader has been appointed rental housing representative commissioner of the Nevada Rural Housing Authority.

Harkreader previously served as an independent contractor for Reno Housing Authority where she managed transitional housing apartments for people leaving the Nevada Mental Health Institute. She also served as an occupational therapy technician III for the State of Nevada Mental Health Department, as well as a counselor for W.A.R.C., a social services representative for the Washoe Tribe of Nevada. She e also worked in security for McQueen High School and the Sands Hotel/Casino.

Harkreader graduated from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Academy.

Tami Ritz

Tami Ritz, an agent with RE/MAX Realty Affiliates in Reno, has been awarded the certified residential specialist designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Tim Ruffin

Tim Ruffin, executive vice president of the Reno office of Colliers International was recognized at the annual Northern California SIOR Chapter Recognition Luncheon for the largest lease in a small market.

Ruffin represented the landlord, Reno Technology Center 1 in Great Call’s lease of 36,254 square feet at 9390 Gateway Drive in Reno.

Mignon Fogarty

Mignon Fogarty, the Donald W. Reynolds Chair in Media Entrepreneurship at the Reynolds School of Journalism & Center for Advanced Media Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, was selected to be one of 12 participants in the Scripps Howard Journalism Entrepreneurship Institute at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication this month.

Chris Chambers

Chris Chambers, a specialist in packing and crating of fine art, sculpture, concert grand pianos and other high-end pieces, has joined the staff of Owens Brothers Transfer of South Lake Tahoe.
