Karen Watson and Matt Baca have joined the staff at the Reno office of Nevada State Bank.
Watson was named as small business loan servicing officer.
She has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years, most recently in Houston, where she worked as small business underwriter, senior underwriter/risk manager and credit approval officer. She joined Nevada State Bank in 2000 as an assistant relationship officer/corporate lending.
Watson graduated from Dona Ana Community College in Las Cruces, N.M., and also studied at the RMA Lending Academy in San Francisco, and the American Institute of Banking.
Baca was named as small business relationship officer.
He has worked in banking services in the Los Angeles and Orange County, Calif. areas, most recently as a business banking officer and small business banker.
Baca graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
