Mary Shultz has been named director of the Savitt Medical Library at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Shultz previously was regional head librarian at University of Illinois at Chicago’s Urbana regional site. She was a resident librarian at the Library of the Health Sciences’ flagship location in Chicago from 1997 to 1999 and then was the assistant health sciences librarian at the Library of the Health Sciences-Urbana from 1999 to 2007.
She received her master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997.
