NMHCG executives

Cheri Glockner, Erin Snell, Amy J. Khan, M.D., and Ryan M. Ley, M.D., have been named to management positions at the newly created Nevada Medicaid Health Care Guidance Program.

The program based in Carson City provides integrated physical and behavioral care management to eligible Nevada fee-for-service Medicaid enrollees.

Glockner was named executive director. She previously was director of development and public relations for Carson Tahoe Health. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Snell was named director of the behavioral health program. A licensed social worker, Snell earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University.

Khan, who named medical director, previously was chief medical officer at Saint Mary’s Health Plans. She earned her medical degree at Wayne State University and earned as master’s degree in public health from The Johns Hopkins University.

Ley, who serves as part-time medical director for behavioral health, also serves as chief of staff of West Hills Hospital in Reno. He earned a medical degree from UNR, an MBA from Arizona State University and a master’s degree in clinical trials from Drexel College of Medicine.
