Teresa Chavez, M.D. has joined the Saint Mary’s Medical Group’s South Virginia Street location.
Dr. Chavez previously practiced rheumatology at TLC Rheumatology in Carson City for 13 years and served as chairperson on the Advisory Association for Arthritis Care for the State of Nevada for two years. She also is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology.
She studied medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed her residency training in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She then went on to complete her rheumatology fellowship at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque, N.M.
