Carson City road report for Sept. 12-18

The following information applies to the period of Sept. 12-18:

Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts, refer to the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources are updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Lane closures on U.S. 395 between Clear Creek and Snyder avenues on northbound lanes between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.

Lane closures with traffic controls are at the following locations due to utility/road work:

Bigelow Drive will be closed to through traffic at Snyder Avenue, Thursday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Center Drive at the intersection of Topsy Lane, weekdays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Eagle Station Lane, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Snyder Avenue from Carson Street to Edmonds Drive from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Colorado Street between Woodcrest Lane and Roop Street, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Fairview Drive between Fifth Street and S. Lompa Lane, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to utility/road work. Drivers are asked to follow detours:

Topsy Lane between Center Drive and U.S. 395, Monday-Sunday, for all hours, local traffic only.

Intersection of Colorado Street and Baker Drive will be closed Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Intersection of Baker Drive and Stafford Way will be closed Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
