Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Sept. 9. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Gold Dust West, bowling alley bar, 2171 E. Highway 50, 100 points.

Melvin’s Car Wash & Detail, convenience store, 1510 N. Carson St., 100 points.

Raley’s, bakery, 3701 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Raley’s, grocery, 3701 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Raley’s, meat, 3701 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Raley’s, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, 3701 S. Carson St., 100 points.

Glen Eagles, 3700 N. Carson St., 99 points. Food items were not properly labeled.

Bella Fiore Wines, 224 S. Carson St., 98 points. Bacterial growth was found in the ice machine.

Carson City Municipal Gold Course, bar, 3999 Centennial Park Drive, 98 points. Sandwiches on a golf cart were not being kept cold.

Raley’s, deli, 3701 S. Carson St., 98 points. Cloths used on food contact surfaces were not clean and didn’t contain sanitizer residual or were not being used properly. Non-food contact surfaces weren’t clean.

Gold Dust West, Ole Ole Bar, 2171 E. Highway 50, 97 points. A supply of paper towels was not available at the sink.

Villa Basque Deli, 730 Basque Way, 97 points. Food items weren’t properly labeled. Non-food contact surfaces weren’t clean.

Adele’s, 112 N. Carson St., 95 points. Food items were not properly labeled. Eggs, sauces and other food items weren’t being stored at the required 41 degrees or under. Mechanical dish washing facilities weren’t properly designed, constructed, maintained, installed, located or operated. Non-food contact surfaces needed to be cleaned. The bottom of the cooler needed to be cleaned and sanitized.

Carson City Municipal Golf Course, Eagle’s Landing, 3999 Centennial Park Drive, 94 points. Food contact surfaces weren’t clean. The ice machine showed signs of bacterial growth. Food was not properly labeled.

Gold Dust West, Ole Ole Mexican Restaurant, 2171 E. Highway 50, 92 points. The cooler was found at 45 degrees. Sanitizer test strips were missing at the three-basin sink. Staff members weren’t trained on how to set the sink up for sanitizing. Non-food contact surfaces weren’t clean. Warming units above the stove top, floors and other surfaces in the kitchen needed cleaning. A supply of soap wasn’t available at the handwashing sink.

Gold Dust West, 2171 E. Highway 50, 91 points. The refrigerator wasn’t holding food at proper temperatures. Food wasn’t being prepared or served with minimal manual contact. Kitchen equipment needed repairing. Non-food contact surfaces of utensils weren’t clean. Deep cleaning was needed throughout the kitchen. The stove top, ventilation hoods, piping around the grill, fans in the walk-in refrigerator and other surfaces needed cleaning. Fixtures on the sink needed to be maintenanced.
