CHS team thankful for success of Robotics Night

Team Captain, the Carson High School Robotics team, would like to thank the community for its tremendous support of our Robotics Night outreach event held at Edith W. Fritsch Elementary School on April 12.

We had demonstrations of our robot, FIRST Lego League competition, CAD drawings, 3-D Printing, a Rubik’s Cube solving robot, and various other stations.

While it is hard to identify each person or entity who made a contribution, we would like to extend our gratitude to: Edith W. Fritsch Elementary School and Principal Dan Brown for hosting this event; Mrs. Waltz, a technology teacher at Fritsch Elementary School, for working with our team to organize this event; the Carson City School District and Superintendent Richard Stokes for promoting the event, both online and in person; Papa Murphy’s Pizza (Highway 50 location in Carson City) for providing pizzas to sell and warmers for the pizza; both Carson City Walmarts for providing donations; the Carson High School Key Club and National Honor Society for providing volunteer manpower to set up, run various stations and clean up; and all those who attended the event for cheering on our team and providing support for our funding needs.
