Carson City Road Report for Aug. 21-27

Road Report as of Aug. 17: The following information applies to the period of Aug. 21-27:

I-580 freeway extension is open.

The shared use path located on Fifth Street between Fairview Drive and Airport Road will be closed until September.

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Follow detours:

Stewart Street will be closed between David and Burton streets, Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Snyder Avenue will be closed from Oak Street to Silver Sage Drive, Monday-Sunday, all hours.

Lane closures or restrictions expected at the following locations due to road/utility work. Please use caution:

Carson Street will be reduced to a single lane in each direction between Tenth and Stewart Streets, Thursday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

South Carson Street southbound lanes will be reduced to two lanes, between Clear Creek and Snyder Avenues, Monday-Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Fairview Drive north and southbound on-ramps will be closed, Monday-Friday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., ramps will reopen daily.

Intersection of U.S. 50 and U.S. 395 will have lane reductions, Monday-Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Special Event: Brewery Arts Center, Summer Concert Series: Second Street will be closed between Minnesota and Thompson Streets, Saturday, 5 to 11 p.m.
