A woman was taken by CareFlight Medical Helicopter to Renown Regional Medical Center after the car she was driving went into a business on the corner of Fourth and Curry streets.
The crash occurred shortly before 8 p.m.
Carson City Sheriff’s Deputies believe the woman may have realized she was about the enter a one-way street going the wrong way when she swerved.
Carson City Fire responded for the report of smoke in the building but no fire was reported.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor. The woman’s condition was unknown. Charges are pending.
The building was unoccupied at the time of the crash.
