Nevada gets $1.4 million for storm damage

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has awarded Nevada a grant to help mitigate the impact of winter storms.

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto said the award to the Division of Emergency Management provides the state the necessary resources to ensure the safety of Nevadans. The total grant is $1,411,220.

“With this security, Nevadans will be able to enjoy the beauty of Nevada’s snowy winters with peace of mind,” she said.
