July breakfast meetings for the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association (NNHRA) are planned for Reno and Carson City.
The Reno-area breakfast meeting on Wednesday July 12 will address "Managing Sexuality Intelligently at Work." The meeting is 8 to 9:45 a.m. at the Atlantis Resort Casino in Reno.
Steven Ing, trainer, speaker, and therapist, will share a new approach to sexual harassment prevention. Rather than the 10 Commandments method of telling employees all of the things not to do (the “Thou shalt nots”), he will present tools to help employees manage their sexuality intelligently, thus creating a healthier environment for everyone in the company.
Workplace sexual harassment lawsuits can cost anywhere from $50,000 to $100 million per case. And that’s just damages. Including the loss of productivity, litigation hours, employee attrition and other costs, the total can be devastating.
For more than 20 years Ing, trainer, speaker, and therapist, has been helping people think through sexual challenges. By reframing the conversation (or lack thereof) around sexuality, he believes we can solve any sexual problem once we learn to manage sexuality intelligently.

The Carson City July breakfast meeting will look at "Getting Useful Data Before Employees Bail" at the meeting Thursday July 20 from 8 to 9:45 a.m. at Joanie's Creekside Cafe.
