Melanie Evans and Grant Brewer have been promoted within the Homebuyer Services Department of the Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA).

Evans was promoted to Home At Last team supervisor.

Evans, who has been with NRHA for 14 years, previously served as a Home At Last specialist and as director of administration in NRHA’s Carson City office. She began working with NRHA’s Home at Last programs four years ago when she moved to Las Vegas. Evans has nearly 20 years of administrative experience, having previously worked for the Nevada Hospital Association, Sunrise Colony Company, the Medical University of South Carolina and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital.

She is a 1992 graduate of Trident College in Charleston, S.C., and she earned her Professional in Human Resources Certification in 2008.

Brewer was promoted to Home At Last specialist.

He previously served as Home At Last management assistant and has been twice awarded the “Stepping It Up” award, which is given to those NRHA team members who go above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities.

Brewer graduated from Carson High School in 2012, and is in the process of earning his degree in agribusiness.

The Home At Last program connects Nevadans with affordable, safe and comfortable housing solutions.
