SPARKS –Revision Brewing Company’s Hop Anatomy, Hoppy Pale Ale placed first in the International Style Pale Ale category at the 2017 U.S. Open Beer Championship — just four months after opening the brewery in Sparks.
Spearheaded by brewmaster Jeremy Warren, Revision Brewing opened in March.
In April, Revision IPA won the 1st place gold medal at the 20th annual IPA Festival at the Bistro in Hayward, California.
Revision Brewing Company’s Hop Anatomy was the first release of a rotating series of hop-centric beers called Project Humulus Lupulus.
The next release in the Project Humulus Lupulus series, Leafy Greens Dab-alicious India Pale Ale, was packaged Monday at Revision Brewing Company and has already begun to ship out to their distributors.
With Revision Brewing Company coming out of the gate hot, Warren and head brewer Jeb Taylor’ are excited to compete in the Great American Beer Festival this year and they are optimistic about being able to bring home another medal.
