A fatal crash at the Highway 395 exit of southbound Interstate 580 snarled traffic Friday morning.
The crash was reported about 9:05 a.m. with Nevada Highway Patrol and Carson City Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department responding.
Southbound I-580 traffic was rerouted at the College Parkway exit. The road reopened about noon.
According to scanner traffic a motorcycle ran into the back of an SUV.
Traffic was backed up earlier this morning as the Fairview exit — from the Fifth Street bridge south — is down to one lane as the opening of the rest of the bypass nears completion.
