Itronics founder to speak at Colorado conference

Itronics Inc. (OTC: ITRO) Founder and President, Dr. John Whitney, will present on “Silver, GOLD’n GRO Zinc Fertilizers and Related Technologies” at a conference on June 27 sponsored by the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado. Dr. Whitney will explain how Itronics’ technology provides an environmentally and commercially attractive method for recycling spent silver-bearing photographic liquids into commercially valuable GOLD’n GRO zinc fertilizers and silver products. He also will explain how this technology is being applied to another large waste stream, discarded computer circuit boards (e-scrap). He will also tell the group about the technology portfolio Itronics is developing for conversion of several additional large industrial waste streams to commercial goods, thereby permanently eliminating these wastes from the environment. The conference, which has been called the best short course of this kind on earth, is entitled: “Recycling Metals from Industrial Waste.” Colorado School of Mines is a teaching and research university dedicated to engineering and applied science, with special expertise in the development and stewardship of the Earth’s natural resources.
