A suspect has been arrested in connection to numerous commercial burglaries last year at a storage unit facility at 1179 Fairview Drive in Carson City.
Matthew Gonzi, 42, of Dayton was arrested on Tuesday by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at his residence. Gonzi was transported and booked into the Carson City Detention Facility on eight counts of burglary.
In 2016, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigated numerous commercial burglaries at the storage unit facility at 1179 Fairview Drive. Investigators obtained a search warrant for Gonzi’s Dayton residence. Investigators recovered a large amount of stolen property from Gonzi’s residence and the investigation eventually led to Gonzi’s arrest on Tuesday.
