Stokes makes school district better
Upon reading the Tuesday night account of the Carson City School Board and its pathetic performance in extending the contract of our gifted superintendent, I had to comment.
Hopefully we are not drifting into the terrible example of Washoe County where that board has become a public embarrassment and severely hurts education’s credibility.
We are privileged to have in Mr. Stokes an eminently competent, approachable and proven administrator. I wouldn’t blame him for looking elsewhere.
Fortunately, Richard is a part of the community and hopefully he excuses the board’s latest antics.
