No injuries were reported following a rollover crash on I-580 Wednesday morning.
Carson City Sheriff’s Office and Nevada Highway Patrol responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on I-580 southbound after the College Parkway exit in Carson City around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The vehicle had been traveling in the northbound lane, when, for an unknown reason, the driver swerved into the shoulder, flipping the vehicle. The vehicle landed in the shoulder of the southbound lane.
The driver wasn’t injured in the accident, though Carson City Fire responded to assist.
Traffic was backed up in the southbound lanes for nearly an hour as deputies blocked off two lanes of traffic.
Impairment wasn’t suspected in the accident and the driver was cited.
