LAS VEGAS — Brothel owner turned politician Dennis Hof has lost his brothel license for his Nye County operation after failing to apply for renewal and pay fees on time.
Nye County Commissioner Lorinda Wichman said Tuesday was the first time in about 10 years that the county has permanently yanked a brothel license.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Hof, who is running as a Republican to represent Assembly District 36, declined to comment through his political consultant, Chuck Muth.
Wichman says this isn’t the first time Hof has failed to complete his paperwork on time. The county let it slide last year.
Hof’s license in Nye County had been suspended in February for issues with signs and trailers on his Pahrump brothel, the Love Ranch.
