Carson City had a breed winner at the Westminster Dog Show.
Adele, owned by Carson City Deputy Director of Emergency Mangement Stacey Belt, finished a successful run at the Westminster Dog Show on Tuesday when she was judged to be one of the top eight dogs out of 32 breeds in the Sporting Group. The female dog advanced to the Sporting Group competition when she was named Best of Breed earlier in the day as she was judged judged as the best dog out of 12 dogs in the Spinoni Italiani breed. .
The winner of the Sporting Group went onto join the winning dogs from the other six groups in the competition to to be named as Best of Show at the Westminster Dog Show.
