People: Courtney Jaeger promoted to VP of Finance at RSCVA

The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority announced July 29 the promotion of Courtney Jaeger, CPA, to Vice President of Finance.


In the role, Jaeger RSCVA’s budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, treasury functions, capital projects and debt management, among other duties.


Jaeger joined the RSCVA in August 2020 as Director of Finance and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in March 2021, according to a July 29 press release.

Jaeger — a Reno native and a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno — has more than a decade of management experience in local government finance, accounting and auditing. Prior to RSCVA, she served as controller of McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

“I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of talented and dedicated professionals at the RSCVA,” Jaeger said in a statement. “Together, I am confident we can continue to make the Reno Tahoe area a premier destination for visitors and a great place to live and work.”
