Miles Construction is celebrating its 35th year in business with the launch this month of its “35 Days of Giving” campaign.

The Carson City construction firm will purchase $3,500 in gift cards from local restaurants and donate them back to nonprofits in the region, including the Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, St. Francis of Assisi Food Bank in Reno, Moxy Up Kids in Douglas County, Boys & Girls Club of Mason Valley and Community Chest in Fernley.

“We wouldn’t be where we are without the support of our community,” Bill Miles, president of Miles Construction, said in a statement. “We’re fortunate to be celebrating 35 successful years in business and we have our community to thank for that. This is our way of demonstrating that by giving to our local nonprofits.”
