France-based flavor manufacturer Monin Americas held a grand opening ribbon cutting on Oct. 18 for its new production facility in Sparks. The facility initially in November 2020, producing up to 30,000 bottles a day with an initial crew of 20 employees.
The company is seeking to fill several more local positions, according to an Oct. 18 press release. Representatives from Washoe County and Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, among others, were on hand for the Oct. 18 grand opening. Among other features, the Sparks facility includes a state-of-the-art “innovation flavor café.” There, customers can experience creative beverage development and operational training with the selection of Monin’s 200-plus flavoring products.
