University of Nevada, Reno partners with TalentSprint Inc.

The University of Nevada, Reno is one of the select partner colleges in the country to participate in TechWise, a diversity, equity and inclusion program created by TalentSprint Inc., a global innovator in transformational DeepTech programs, and supported by Google. The program enables students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to prepare for high-growth tech careers.

Twenty undergraduate students from the University of Nevada, Reno will be awarded full program scholarships to participate in the 18-month virtual program, which provides technical training, one-on-one Google mentorship and a $5,000 stipend. The program empowers students to become world-class, entry-level software engineers by the time they graduate college. Students will begin classes in March 2022.
This partnership aligns with the University’s on-going efforts to enhance students’ digital skillsets. Most recently, the University announced the Digital Wolf Pack Initiative, a pilot program developed to provide technology to incoming freshman in fall 2021.
