Maruho Medical signs lease at Mill @ McCarran bringing project to 100% occupancy

Maruho Medical has signed a lease at the Mill@McCarran flex office project, Basin Street Properties announced in a press release.

Maruho Medical, a orthopedic surgery medical device manufacturer, is the U.S. orthopedic/sports medicine subsidiary of Maruho Co., Ltd. a leading Japanese pharmaceutical company. Maruho Medical is focused on designing, manufacturing, and marketing disruptive technologies that help improve orthopedic soft tissue repair.

The signing puts the Mill@McCarran at 100% occupancy.

Basin Street Properties is a Northern Nevada and Northern California real estate investment, development, and management firm.

Since 2018, Maruho Medical has been dedicated to helping surgeons by providing innovative technology to improve sports medicine outcomes. They offer medical device solutions that are highly effective, dependable, simple to use, and cost-efficient. Currently, Maruho Medical has a broad range of orthopedic surgery products to support arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, hip, and extremities.

“The Mill @ McCarran space provides the flexibility they need to manage their R&D operations and is a highly visible location directly on McCarren Blvd,” said Scott Stranzl, chief portfolio officer of Basin Street Properties. “The location also provides plenty of parking and easy access to reach collaborative partners throughout the Reno Sparks area. Mill @ McCarran is comprised of five one-story buildings totaling approximately 129,767 square feet. This mixed-use business park has Class A flex, office and retail showroom space with excellent visibility to McCarran Blvd.
