The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners has appointed Public Utilities Commission of Nevada chair Hayley Williamson to its board of directors.

Williamson has served as a PUCN commissioner since 2019, in which Gov. Steve Sisolak appointed her. She has worked at the PUCN since 2013 and previously served as senior assistant general counsel and acting general counsel.

Williamson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, a J.D. from Vermont Law School, and a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge.
