People: Joy Foremaster featured in Women in STEM initiative

Joy Foremaster, PBS Reno director of education, is the October feature from Women in STEM, the monthly online initiative led by U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen of Nevada.

As PBS Reno director of education, Foremaster oversees the PBS Reno Curiosity Classroom Workshop program. Foremaster and a team of 40-plus accredited facilitators visit thousands of local classrooms, delivering standards-based STEM lessons that include a read-aloud and activities, with many including programming with robots.
