People: Veronica Gomez joins Spread the Word Nevada board of directors

Spread the Word Nevada announced the addition of Veronica Gomez to their board of directors.

Gomez joins the 17-member board of directors as a representative of Washoe County.

Gomez is the vice president of digital member experience with Greater Nevada Credit Union. She earned a Master of Science in management and leadership and a Bachelor of Business Administration, both from Western Governors University.

As an avid volunteer in our community, Gomez joined Spread the Word Nevada as a volunteer in March and has given countless hours back to the organization.

Gomez supports a variety of nonprofits including Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Nevada Math, Bite of Reality, Northern Nevada Dream Center, Special Olympics, PBS Reno and Ronald McDonald House.
