Nevada Green Business Network, in conjunction with Sol-Up, announces a promotion to encourage 30 small-to-medium businesses to become certified with the Nevada Green Business Program within the next 60 days.
Valued at $2,500 each, the HCS-40 EVSE charger being offered by Sol-Up is a high-powered Level 2 EV charging station that charges a car up to six times faster than the cord set that comes with one’s electric vehicle.
The promo offer includes installation at the business site of those businesses who apply for and qualify for the promotion.
How to qualify for the EV chargers:
• Apply to become green certified at: nv.app.greenbiztracker.org.
• A Nevada Green Business Advisor will reach out to you and help you fill in a sector specific checklist of verifiable actions and best practices. They offer free assistance to small to medium-sized businesses and recognize efforts.
• Finish the checklist and get green certified within 60 days. A training on how to become green certified is being held today at the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce, 4065 S. Virginia St., Suite 101.
While attendance to the training is not necessary to qualify for the EV charger, participation is encouraged. To register, visit web.thechambernv.org/events/Green-Business-Training-8952/register?entityDomainId=7&secure=True. Certification is free and results are confidential.
