Board Chair Seema Donahoe
The Discovery announces its new slate of board officers and the addition of two accomplished members to its board of directors.
The new slate of board officers includes Board Chair Seema Donahoe, Vice Chair Jay Karpen, Secretary Andy Walden, and Treasurer Maj. Justin R. Klatt.
In addition to a new slate of board officers, Discovery also welcomes two new board members — Jamii Uboldi and Leland Davis.
Uboldi brings over 15 years of award-winning marketing and communications experience across healthcare, energy, nonprofits and more. As system director of marketing and communications at Northern Nevada Health System, she leads strategic initiatives to grow consumer engagement, advocate for healthcare education and elevate brand recognition.
Notable accomplishments include directing marketing efforts for the launch of Sierra Medical Center and four additional facilities.
A community leader, Uboldi has served as PRSA Sierra Nevada past president and held roles with Nevada Women’s Fund, Girl Scouts of Sierra Nevada and more. She earned her public relations accreditation in 2017.
Davis, COO and principal geoscientist at Geologica Geothermal Group, brings over 16 years of expertise in geothermal energy development and consulting.
His experience spans geology, geophysics, well design, reservoir engineering and energy technologies, with contributions to projects worldwide, from the Western U.S. to Southeast Asia and East Africa.
In 2023, he helped complete a geothermal addition to the Energy/Energía exhibition at The Discovery. Davis also serves on the board of directors of Geothermal Rising.
