PBS Reno has hired Chris Roach for the role of community partnership coordinator.
Roach earned his Bachelor of the Arts in film and digital media from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
He most recently served as a content planning manager for The Walt Disney Co., where he led the planning of live events on Disney+ and coordinated asset and contract readiness with cross-functional teams.
He also managed the tracking of the Disney+ global streaming slate and implemented frequent data and metadata changes across multiple tools. Additionally, Roach pulled and analyzed viewership data for priority titles, prepared performance reports for senior leadership, and led global audience segment tagging across all forecasted titles.
As PBS Reno community partnership coordinator, Roach will work as a liaison between clients and sponsors of PBS Reno collecting media assets and increasing community support for the station.
