Drew McGregor
The Nevada Mining Association announces the return of Drew McGregor to the organization as its communications manager.
In this position, McGregor will oversee the organization’s communication strategy, relationships with media, community organizations, and educational institutions.
McGregor will interface with all NVMA departments to develop strategies to align and highlight the organization’s mission to engage new audiences, support industry recruitment, and highlight mining’s role in today’s world.
McGregor previously served as NVMAs outreach manager for more than seven years, managing many of the organization’s external communications channels including social media, newsletters and website, along with overseeing public relations efforts.
For the past two and a half years, McGregor was marketing content lead for the Hamilton Co., managing social media pages, launching and managing a successful webinar program, and assisting with the company website and graphic design.
Prior to his initial stint with NVMA, McGregor was a program manager for Best Buddies Nevada and served as the lead field organizer for the Nevada State Democratic Party.
McGregor earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and Bachelor of Arts in political science from Dickinson State University in North Dakota.
