CareSource announces new leadership from an experienced team of healthcare veterans, including Jayme Puu as chief executive officer and Tracey Green as chief medical officer.
Puu will lead as chief executive officer of CareSource Nevada and serves as senior vice president of national network and strategic sourcing for CareSource's Nevada operations.
Puu brings nearly 25 years of experience driving health care transformation through strategic initiatives that prioritize quality, accessibility and equity.
In Nevada, she leads CareSource’s efforts to develop comprehensive partnerships with providers, policymakers and community organizations to address the state’s most pressing healthcare needs.
Before joining CareSource, Puu held executive leadership positions at Hawaii Medical Service Association Blue Cross Blue Shield of Hawaii, where she led transitions to value-based payment models.
Green will lead clinical initiatives, focusing on innovative solutions to improve health outcomes and advance the organization’s mission of healthier futures for all.
With nearly 30 years of experience in Medicaid and healthcare leadership, she previously served as chief medical officer for Nevada Health and Human Services and vice dean at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Green is board-certified in family medicine and earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nevada, Reno.
